Indianapolis Boudoir Pinup Photography: Peacock Boudoir

I shoot boudoir photos and I’m proud of it! You can check out my website entirely devoted to boudoir/pinup photography at Peacock Boudoir.

Why the name Peacock Boudoir? Well, one of my first boudoir session was done with full body paint. The MUA, Kinsey, painted beautiful intricate peacock feathers and the name stuck. Like a peacock feather, I feel there are many boudoir styles and I like each client to reflect that in their session. From couture boudoir to pinup to body painting Peacock Boudoir offers a myriad of boudoir styles.

Below is an example with Sarah in two styles. One being Bridal boudoir with bridal lingerie by http://www.btrousseau.com/ and the second being a pinup/retro boudoir. Makeup and hair by Kelly Oswalt with Red Carpet Reflection and Danielle Burkhead-Wilson with Danielle’s Makeup Studio.

Indianapolis Retro Pinup Photography

Last weekend I photographed the beyond adorable Jess. She has her own vintage clothing line called Rockin B Clothing which you can learn all about on her website. Our theme for the shoot was to capture her style in a vintage/retro pinup themed shoot in Indianapolis. Believe it or not but Jess styles her hair every day in a vintage themed way. She even teaches fellow swing dancers how to emulate her classic pinup hairstyles.

Since it was winter time we shot indoors in a studio setting which also helped us recreate that old school lighting techniques of yesteryear. Our themes were school girl, traveling, beach, and reporter. All had various costumes carefully styled by Jess and props we had jumbled together.
