Columbus Indiana High School Senior Photographer: 2012 Seniors
Thursday, March 24th, 2011Last Saturday I got together with a group of women photographers to photograph a group of 2012 upcoming seniors. This group of young ladies were so much fun to photograph. They were stylish, hilarious, and were working the beautiful afternoon light in the Zionsville streets. After our photo session, the women photographer panel had an amazing chat and dinner. So great to have fellow business women to learn and grow with.

Columbus Indiana Senior Photography: Jade 2011 East High School Graduate
Friday, August 13th, 2010Jade is a California girl with great style transplanted to Indiana which I completely empathize with. Jade’s mom works for the Columbus Indiana Art Council which came in handy on a impromptu chalk idea we wanted to try. In addition to creating chalk art, Jade’s senior photography session was full of leaps, and beautiful smiles, a California flag. This gorgeous girl was too easy to photograph and it was very hard to pick a few favorites to share.
What a gorgeous girl!!!
Jade and her sister… it was fun to have her sister and mom at the session to help Jade laugh and lend posing ideas.
I had Katy Perry’s “California Girl” song stuck in my head as I edited these… we had a quasi-California sunset which was a perfect addition to her Cali flag.

Columbus Indiana Senior Photography: Chelsey
Monday, April 12th, 2010I know Chelsey through another senior, Shelby, I photographed last October. When it was time for Chelsey to intern for a day she called me via Shelby’s suggestion and we talked for 6 hours on all things photography and art. She is a great photographer herself and will be going to school in the fall to begin her journey in higher education.
Of course when Chelsey called me a couple weeks later for her senior session, I knew it would be heaps of fun and center around photography. Being a vintage styled girl, we used some of Chelsey’s vintage cameras, sunglasses, and retro clothing to create photos I feel should be in a magazine. We started in downtown Columbus then headed to her favorite tree in the fields of southern Indiana.
While editing the photos it was so hard for me to pick a favorite as Chelsey’s smile was perfect in every shot. Below are some of my highlights fr0m this session. I’ll be posting a slide show here shortly so check back soon!
This reminded me so much of a Urban Outfitters catalog… so so cute!!
And this series.. totally in love with these shots as I feel they are out of a natural living spread
