Emily and Justin are such sweet people and so adorable together. Their wedding was a perfect day full of love, happy tears, laughs, and a gorgeous cool summer temperature. Their ceremony was at the light filled St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in downtown Columbus, Indiana. It is not often I get to photograph in a church that has so much natural light. Their flowers were by Claudia’s Florabunda and as usual were perfection. Emily’s color scheme was a modern yellow and gray pallet which she mixed in throughout from bridesmaids dresses to flowers on the cake. It was an honor to document Emily and Justin’s wedding as they made me feel like family which makes the photos all the more real.

My favorite wedding moment was getting into the limo after the reception with the entire bridal party: I felt completely relaxed and was so happy to be around all or our favorite people, just us.
Funniest moment was my sisters speech when she talked about how much I love cats.
Favorite wedding purchase is definitely my dress. Its the centerpiece of the entire day, and I was very pleased with my choice.
Advise for brides: Don’t sweat the small details. Make sure you take time to enjoy your day, and have alcohol and a great Dj because it will ensure your guests will have the best time!
