I choose the Loft because I think it’s the best venue in Columbus, IN. I think it is very inviting and beautiful on the inside.
My main colors were eggplant and ivory and then to bring a little spunk into things I brought in Peacock feathers with adding some jewel tones into floral arrangements. I wanted to it be interesting and fun but classy at the same time!
Favorite moment of the day? Being announced as Mr. & Mrs. Adam Thompson and Emerson, walking down the aisle after the ceremony as a family and having Emerson in our arms to enjoy that special moment.
Funniest moment? Well I did not know this but apparently when Adam and I were getting announced into the reception and getting down with our bad selves, I almost knocked him down! lol!
The other moment I thought was great was sharing my wedding day on my cousin’s birthday and allowing him some spot light for his birthday, making him dance to I’m Sexy and I Know It front and center on the dance floor!
First Dance song? God Gave Me You- Blake Shelton
Would you change anything? Looking back I would have probably went into the wedding planning with more of a budget! This stuff gets spendy! However I loved everything from my flowers, cake, DJ, Photographer and Ceremony- I wouldn’t say I would make it much different!
Advice for planning brides? Try to relax and if you have a budget try to stick with it! lol! Overall your Special Day goes by so fast, so try and enjoy every moment of it and have fun, this day is yours, and it will turn out how you want it too!
