A few weeks ago, I photographed Jack’s adorable parents maternity session. They loved those photos so much (as did I) they asked me to photograph Jack as a newborn and opted out of the hospital photos. I was honored and thrilled, as the hospital photographs leave much to be desired. Much to his parents surprise, Jack came 3 weeks early. Millie, having listened to my advice on how newborns should be photographed within 10 days of birth, set up an appointment within a week of his birth. Jack was such a good baby during his session and slept almost entirely though the session. A huge thank you goes to Kari of Kari Smith Photography, as she used her baby whispering skills to help assist me. I don’t think any photographer should ever photograph a newborn without an assistant, as newborn safety comes first!
