Midwest Pet Photographer: Meet baby bulldog Cooper

Cooper is a 4-5 month old baby bulldog puppy owned by Magen, a former client of mine. She wanted to document his small size as just like newborn sessions, puppies grow up just as fast. It was lovely to catch up with Magen as well as meet Cooper who I instantly fell in love with (as did everyone else who walked by him during our session). I’m thankful Magen thought of me to document baby Cooper, as being the animal lover I am, it was a treat to photograph this little wrinkly, happy, ball of baby bulldog.

Indianapolis Pet Photography: Bailey and Rosie Yorkie Session

Indianapolis, Indiana Pet Photography: Chanel the Yorkie

I was fortunate to meet up with Jessica and Matt on a gorgeous warm fall day to photograph their adorable Yorkshire Terrier, Chanel. This tiny ball of energy was a joy to photograph. She watched her parents and followed their lead enabling me to capture her personality or I like to say dog-ality. Chanel weighs all of 3.5 pounds but her intelligence is through the roof. She knows how to sit, stay, lay down, bark loud and soft, roll over, and several other adorable tricks.

With her fluffy ears, deep brown eyes, and energetic happy demeanor, Chanel was a great subject and I can not wait to get some prints made of her for my doggy portfolio.

While in California shooting my cousin’s gorgeous wedding I snuck in some photos of my aunt’s beloved Chihuahua, Buddy. If any of you readers out there know me, you probably know my Chihuahua, Lola, which I got as after I met buddy I knew I needed my own sidekick.

My mom recently decided to get a puppy as her last dog, Max, passed away over 2 years ago and she hadn’t been ready until now. Her new puppy’s name is Izzie and is a puff ball of a Maltese. I did a quickie doggy portrait session with Izzie and threw Lola in there, too (my chihuahua). Enjoy!
