Via Sara and Nate: Our vision for our Wedding day was beautiful, natural, and relaxed. The ceremony site had so much beauty in itself that we did not want to add anything else. The gorgeous amphitheater and running water was breathtaking. We had suggested to our guests to explore the rest of Coxhall after the ceremony. The tent would provide drinks and or’deurves, to walk amongst the gardens, view the lake and bell towers, and to play in the children’s garden. We wanted our guests to enjoy the site and the late August evening. Our colors of cornflower, clover, and pewter would highlight the reception tent along with the beautiful sunset.
Funniest moment? Nate: Getting Ryan (16 yr old stepbrother) into Old Town Tavern for the Groomsman pictures.
Favorite moment? The moment we saw each other for the first time!
Favorite detail(s) of the day? Everything was made possible with the help of our friends. From the save the dates/engagement pics/programs, bride bouquet & groom boutonniere, bridesmaid bouquets, groomsmen boutonnieres/bridesmaid hairpieces/flower wrist bands, cake & cupcakes, makeup/hair, Dj, MC, lights & speakers, to the photographer was provided by someone special in our lives. Each person provided us their help with their own personalization and style, and we cannot thank them enough!
August 13th, 2011 was Amazing. The forecast all week predicted it to rain and storm all day, and there was no sign of it. The ceremony began and everything felt like a fairytale. We could not believe that this was actually happening, and how perfect everything was going! We were surrounded by all the love and excitement from family and friends. Once pictures were finished, the sky became cloudy and the storm was approaching. We were a little nervous about it, but knew that this day was too perfect and nothing could stop us. The evening was truly unforgettable.
