Kassidy + Jamieson’s Columbus Indiana engagement session

These two!!! Kassidy and Jamieson had so many great ideas for their engagement session around Kassidy’s hometown of Columbus, Indiana. Their style, love of each other and architecture, and Kassidy’s ability to saber a champagne bottle (WOA!) was so fun to photograph. Kassidy helped me see Columbus in a whole new angle, too. I can NOT wait to work with pair again this fall for their Columbus wedding. Thank you for having me as your photographer, I had a blast capturing you two!

Q+A with couple:

How did you two meet? Kassidy and Jamieson were lucky enough to find each other on the dating site, Bumble, while they were living in Indianapolis.

First date? Their first date was in July 2017; after messaging for a few days, Jamieson suggested meeting in person that Friday evening. Little did they know when they started sipping Bell’s Two Hearted and discussing life’s non-negotiables that the first chapter of their love story was unfolding.

Proposal story? Jamieson popped the question at Garfield Park, a location they frequented summer farmer’s markets together and the location where Jamieson said he first knew Kassidy was “the one”. The two of them designed Kassidy’s engagement ring together – an experience they highly recommend couples sharing together!

Wedding plans? Kassidy and Jamieson are looking forward to holding onto their October 2020 wedding date in Columbus, IN despite the loops the pandemic has thrown.
