Adventure Elopement Session
July was a tough month for me personally. My beloved grandmother passed away. On top of that I went to Puerto Rico and photographed 5 weddings, many of which were postponements via covid. To be that busy with all the sadness of her loss was a lot to say the least. My Grandma Char was the matriarch of our family and my role model. She was an avid photographer, traveler, and a big personality. The lady loved days of our lives, too. My grandfather and she were married for 65 years and she sadly passed on their 65th anniversary. I had planned on visiting them April 2020, but we all know how that goes. It was a month to say the least. I also went to Eastern Washington twice. Once for her memorial, and another was my April 2020 trip postponed until late July. On my second trip, my cousin’s wife, Susanna Brogan, a fellow talented wedding photographer set up a fun mountain elopement adventure session, as we certainly don’t have much mountain topography here in Indiana. It was so nice to be out in the mountains doing what I love. I edited these a bit warmer as there have been quite a few fires out west which made everything a bit warm/red.
