Claire + Aaron’s Fall Eagle Creek Engagement Session with their dog

I have known this adorable couple for a few years. Then the pair got engaged!! We met up on a lovely fall afternoon at Eagle Creek with their bouncy pup. We wandered around the fall foliage and captured some great images for the pair. Congrats you two and thanks for having me capture your fall engagement session.

Q+A with the couple:

We first met in college and despite DePauw being a small school we only met two weeks before graduation and then spent time together every day. Neither of us were sure if the other wanted to continue seeing each other after leaving, even though we both wanted to, so Aaron’s roommate did some sleuthing for us and we’ve been together ever since. Our first date at school was a nature park hike where Aaron got attacked by a spider and our first outside of school date was getting ice cream after his graduation dinner when he asked me to be his girlfriend.

After that we both continued with our education and did things slightly out of order by buying a house together in 2018.

Aaron finally proposed after five years in the summer of 2019 when I received a grant for both of us to travel through Europe for a month. He proposed on the third night of our trip on a love lock bridge in Warsaw, Poland after we retrieved our lost luggage.

We were going to start wedding planning this past spring, but with everything going on we’ve decided to wait until it’s safe to have our families there and the ceremony we want. It’s already been 6 years, what’s another one if we have the rest of our lives?
