As an Indianapolis wedding photographer, I get to meet the most incredible couples—and Brock and Clare were no exception. Their story began six years ago at the Indiana State House, where they met while working. It only made sense that we returned there for a few wedding portraits, tying the past to the present in the most beautiful way.
From their Newfields engagement session to their elegant spring wedding in downtown Indianapolis, photographing Brock and Clare was an absolute joy. Their celebration took place at two of the most iconic Indianapolis wedding venues—the Conrad Hotel and the Indianapolis Artsgarden—creating the perfect backdrop for timeless wedding photos.
Their spring wedding day was filled with personal, thoughtful touches. One of my favorite moments as a wedding photographer was during their ceremony when they invited guests to take a few photos, then asked everyone to set their phones down and be fully present. The couple shared a few fun poses with their guests during that moment, and the crowd absolutely loved it!
Every detail—from the bride’s gown to the lush spring florals—was a dream to capture. As a photographer in Indianapolis, I especially love weddings that reflect the couple’s values and personality. Brock and Clare’s love for each other and for the planet came through in every part of their wedding day.
