Indianapolis Smoke bomb maternity session

What an honor it is to to work with past engagement and wedding clients on their maternity sessions! I could not be happier for Jess and Matt! They are about to become wonderful first time parents to Baby Grace. I am thrilled to have captured their milestones these past few years. From their go-kart Columbus Indiana engagement portraits to their Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Wedding.

What made this session unique was the use of the rainbow colored smoke bombs. We ended up shooting this at my house as I didn’t want to alarm anyone in Indianapolis. A huge thank you to Walter who was behind Jess and Matt setting off the smoke bombs. Once you pull the cord you have less than 90 seconds to capture the color. The wind did change direction as well as the green smoke bomb didn’t go off. We used the green later which was super fun with Jess’s gorgeous red hair. Thank you two again in trusting me in capturing your memories!
