Mara and Blake are one of those couples that give you the warm and fuzzies. They are so easy going, fun, and all around great people. I really enjoyed getting to know theme throughout their planning process. I knew their wedding was going to be a great party!
Their celebrations took place on Cinco de Mayo at Laurel Hall in Indianapolis. They had omaĝe to the holiday with tiny pinatas and a taco bar. The pair chose to do a first look which meant we had SO much time for a variety of portraits around the grounds of Laurel Hall. Here are a few of my MANY favorites. As cheesy as this sounds, I hope to say friends with the pair as these two are pretty awesome people!
Q+A with bride Mara!
What inspired your wedding style? To be honest, it was Laurel Hall! The architecture, the dark wood, the beautiful grounds that surround it inspired the romantic feel we went for!
How did you pick your gown? It had pockets so I could fit all my little goodies in there from bobby pins to lipgloss!
Favorite moment(s)? Favorite moments would have had to been karaoke on the dance floor and then Blake and I sneaking off, taking a moment for ourselves and observing the part from a far.
Funniest moment(s)? Probably when the whole family started to roll on the floor for our wedding family tradition to proud Mary!
