Emily, Jack, and their sweet pup Bonnie often walk around Newfields 100 acres, so it was fitting their late summer engagement portraits be taken at a place they love.  Despite a few pesky mosquitoes, we had one of those perfect Indiana evenings with gorgeous warm sun. I am SO excited to be working with these two next September. They will return to Newfields for their wedding ceremony and reception!

Q + A with Bride to be Emily:

How did you two meet? We met at Park Tudor and started dating the summer before our senior year.

First date? Our first date was at LaPiedad then onto BRICS!

How did he propose? Jack proposed on an island in the middle of Oxbow Lake in Broad Ripple the day before Christmas Eve. I had NO idea it was coming, but jokingly said, “I hope you’re not proposing because I am wearing mittens!” Our friends and family were waiting inside for a toast when we came inside, it was perfect!

Wedding plans? We are getting married at Newfields which holds a special place in my heart. Our ceremony will be in front of the Lichtenstein Brushstrokes sculpture and the reception will be in Deer Zink. It will be a blast of a party, with lots of great friends, food and wine!
