Christine + Daniel’s Wedding Part II at Tinker House Events
Christine and Daniel wed back in late April on their initial wedding date. They postponed their larger festivities to this past weekend in late August. The couple was so considerate of all in these interesting times. The pair will honeymoon in Italy when able. I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know the two and look forward to staying in touch with them!
Their florals by Violets are Blue Indy were stunning. Jillian with Frame Worth Events made sure everything ran smoothly. It was an Indianapolis dream team behind this lovely pairs festivities. Tinker house was as stunning as ever.
Q+A with the newlyweds
Wedding synopsis/overview of the day?
Daniel and I were grateful to be married in a small ceremony with our local immediate family on our original date in April. With our postponed celebration, we were most looking forward to being able to have the celebration Mass at our church and safely seeing our family and friends. We adjusted our plans for the day several times with everyone’s health and safety in mind. It may have looked a little different than we originally planned, but in the end we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful celebration.
What inspired your wedding style?
Our wedding style inspirations were classic and elegant, and the venue at Tinker House was a beautiful space for this vision. Courtney from Violets are Blue created the most stunning florals which were a perfect complement to our colors with shades of green and blush, and the gold accents and candles provided a soft and romantic atmosphere.
Anecdotes about your gown?
I went wedding dress shopping with my mom, sister, and mother-in-law which was such a special time together. We found my dress pretty early in the day but I was hesitant to make the decision on only our first shopping trip. My mother-in-law gave a piece of sweet advice to pick the dress that I could picture myself standing next to Daniel. That helped to reaffirm that this dress was the one!
Favorite moment(s)?
Finally walking down the aisle in front of family and friends, and feeling the love and support from all of the incredible people in our lives.
Funniest moment(s)?
We had taken dance lessons leading up to our original April date which included learning ballroom steps and even an optimistic lift. With our adjusted plans, we had planned on not having a first dance. But after encouragement from our families and bridal party, we were able to have our first dance after all which was so special. Also Daniel’s three-year-old nephew was the life of the party and said that he didn’t want to go home at the end of the night, which captured everyone’s feelings!
