Natalie + Tony’s Fall Bloomington Wedding at the Woolery Mill
On a gorgeous fall afternoon together with family and friends, Natalie and Tony were married at the new wedding Woolery Mill venue in Bloomington, Indiana. The two met at Mizzou and the rest was history. They gave me so many snippets of time, that we were able to take so many gorgeous portraits of the pair and their bridal party. Their wedding vendor team was top notch, too. Thank you both!!! It was a pleasure!

Overview of the day? We searched high and low for a venue that checked all our boxes. We wanted something unique that had ample space (both inside and out) with the option to customize to make it our own. Since more than half out guests would be traveling from out of state, we knew we needed to pick a venue in a location with a variety of hotel options, dining and shopping. We considered it a mini-destination wedding and Bloomington was perfect. The Woolery Mill had a uniqueness about it that differentiated it from other venues we toured and One World Catering can do just about anything – making our decision easy! Extra perk- it was super convenient to work with one person who manages both the venue and catering!
The venue is very industrial (it’s an old limestone mill!) but I fell in love with it for the natural light. We wanted to add some soft touches to the industrial space so we brought in wood chairs, added fabric to separate the cocktail space from the reception room and incorporated wood elements and candles in our table decor.
From the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception, it felt like 30 minutes! Our day was a total whirlwind but in the best way possible. Southern Indiana delivered on the perfect autumn day. With 70s and sunshine, we couldn’t have asked for better weather! I loved seeing it all come together and tried to soak up every minute of the night. We’re ready to do it all over again!
How did you make your gown unique to you? The belt was purchased separately and then my seamstress tacked it to my dress! I ordered it from Amazon for $17!
Favorite moment(s)? We will forever cherish the blending of our families and friends for the night. Having all our loved ones dancing together under one roof is a memory we will never forget! It was the absolute best!
Funniest moment(s)? At the end of the night, a groomsman was dropping some wild moves on the dance floor and ripped his pants straight down the middle… WHOOPS!
